Dr. Rahul G. Samtani is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon with expertise in the treatment of complex and degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He is committed to delivering the most advanced, evidence-based surgical care available, with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques that promote faster recovery and superior outcomes.

Dr. Samtani earned his Doctor of Medicine with Distinction from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in recognition of his academic excellence. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, followed by a highly competitive fellowship in Complex Spine Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) — one of the premier spine surgery training programs in the country.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and maintains active membership in multiple professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), AO Spine, the North American Spine Society (NASS), and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS). Dr. Samtani has contributed to the medical literature through numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in both orthopedic and spine surgery.
