About

Dr. Venkata S. Dandamudi is a neurologist, neuro-intensivist, and neuro-interventionalist in Bakersfield. After medical school, he spent two years as a research Fellow at the Center for Neurological Imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School. He went on to complete training in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, in Neurology at Tufts University, and in Neuro-Critical Care and Neurointerventional Surgery at Tufts Medical Center.

Currently, he is an active member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery. Dr. Dandamudi specializes in aneurysm, brain arteriovenous malformations, brain bleed, carotid artery disease, cerebral artery thrombosis, cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, cerebrovascular disease, cervical arterial disease, intracranial arterial disease, spinal vascular abnormalities, stroke, transient ischemic attack, and vascular disease.

Dr. Dandamudi has been a resident of the Bakersfield area for over ten years, treating patients with the hope of expanding local neuro-interventional services that patients have traditionally sought treatment for outside of the community.
