UNI Vascular Neurology
Vascular Neurology
Expert stroke and cerebrovascular care — from acute intervention to long-term secondary prevention, guided by the latest AHA/ASA guidelines.
Stroke & TIA Evaluation
Comprehensive workup for stroke and transient ischemic attack — including advanced vascular imaging, CT perfusion analysis, cardiac evaluation, and etiology identification — followed by evidence-based secondary prevention guided by current AHA/ASA guidelines.
Advanced Cerebrovascular Imaging
We utilize CT perfusion, CTA, MRI, and MRA to identify salvageable brain tissue (penumbra), guide acute treatment decisions, and assess long-term cerebrovascular risk. Our Neurologists provide expert, real-time interpretation of all vascular neuroimaging.
Post-Stroke Follow-Up & Continuity
Structured outpatient follow-up after stroke or TIA, with close attention to neurological recovery, aggressive risk factor management, medication optimization, and coordination with rehabilitation and primary care.
OUR APPROACH
Leading Cerebrovascular Care in the Central Valley
United Neuroscience has been the region’s leading vascular neurology group since our founding. We were among the first in the Central Valley to adopt CT perfusion-guided extended-window thrombectomy — informed by landmark trials such as DAWN and DEFUSE-3 — and we continue to incorporate the latest evidence into our clinical protocols. Recent large-core infarction trials, including ANGEL-ASPECT and SELECT2, have further reshaped how we approach patients with large ischemic cores, and our team applies this evolving evidence rigorously and in real time.
Our vascular Neurologists manage the full continuum of cerebrovascular care, bridging the emergency department, inpatient unit, and outpatient clinic to optimize every patient’s outcome. From acute thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy to secondary prevention, anticoagulation management, and long-term cerebrovascular risk reduction, we follow every patient with the same commitment from the first moment of care through recovery.
